Hello, I'm Ateka
I am a Play and Creative Arts Therapist and Rebirthing Breathwork Practitioner based in Edinburgh. I offer warm, reflective spaces for children, young people and adults to feel supported, reconnect with themselves and move towards greater balance and wellbeing.
Awaken with Ateka brings together breath, spirituality, creativity, play and nature — practices that have become deeply meaningful in both my life and my work.
A Journey Towards Wholeness
My path to this work has been shaped by my own journey towards greater balance and authenticity. Becoming a Play and Creative Arts Therapist helped me reconnect with my inner child and, through that process, I was led to breathwork. The breath deepened my self-awareness and spiritual connection and has become an integral part of how I live, how I work and who I am today.
Through my work, I offer a sanctuary where you can breathe, play, create, reflect and listen to the wisdom already within you. I hold this space with warmth and respect for the whole of who you are — including the faith, culture and life experiences that have shaped you.
Outside my work, I am happiest in nature and enjoy hiking in the Scottish countryside, gardening, reading and writing poetry.
